Mr. Kittisak Jirapasuksakul, Executive Director of BG SPORTS, presided over the press conference to launch BG SPORTS, owner of football live broadcast channels and sports content, as another option for watching football matches via the YOUTUBE platform at BG Stadium on September 13, with Dato’ Windsor John, General Secretary of the Asian Football Confederation, and Andrew Rogers, Commercial Director of the Asian Football Confederation, joining the press conference.

BG SPORTS also announced that it has acquired the broadcasting rights for 4 competitions of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for a period of 5 years in order to prepare for live broadcasting of various AFC football competitions, starting with the live broadcasting of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Round 3, Asia Zone, and continuing in the 2024/25 AFC Champions League Elite and the 2024/25 AFC Champions League Two, starting on 16 September, including the 2024/25 AFC Women’s Champions League, which will start in October 2024.

Previously, BG SPORTS has broadcasted many world-class football competitions, including leading leagues in Asia such as Japan’s J-League, Meiji Yasuda J1 League, Meiji Yasuda J2 League, and Meiji Yasuda J3 League, as well as the YBC Levain Cup 2024 season. It has also broadcasted world-class pre-season football such as “Soccer Champions Tour 2024” and “FC Series 2024”, and has just announced that it has acquired the rights to broadcast the EFL Championship 2024/25, the second-ranked league in England, as well as the ASEAN Club Championship or “Shopee Cup” for the 2024/25 season and the ASEAN Football Championship or “ASEAN MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC CUP 2024”, which it has just acquired the rights for earlier.
